Fairbank Community Center – Winter Session 1

Session 1: Tues 4-4:50pm (Grade 2–5) and 5-5:50pm (Grade 6–8), Fairbank Community Center

Session 2: Weds 4-4:50pm (Grade 2–5) and 5–5:50pm (Grade 6–8), Fairbank Community Center
From 01/29/2025–03/05/2025, sessions are ON during Feb vacation week 02/19)

Your child will learn the basic skills and rules of volleyball, including how to pass (not bump!) set, hit (not spike!), and serve. We will also teach them movement exercises and games that introduce them to the rhythm, strategy, and joy of the game. No previous experience is necessary! Over six sessions, your child will get 1-on-1 and small group coaching with a high energy, lots of movement, minimal downtime approach that will energize your child and share our love for this amazing game. Your child will take home a Sudbury Youth Volleyball t-shirt and new players will take home a volleyball (competitive style for middle schoolers and “volley-lite” for elementary kids) to allow them to practice at home and build on what they have learned.
