Fairbank Community Center – Winter Session 1

Fall season: 8 weeks starting the week of Monday 9/28/26 through the week of Monday 11/16/26

Winter season: 8 weeks starting the week of Monday 11/30/26, running three weeks before winter break, then from the week starting Monday 1/4/27 through the week starting Monday 2/1/27

Spring season: 8 weeks between February and April vacation weeks, so starting week of Monday 2/22/27 through the week starting Monday 4/12/27

At SYV Skills Clinics on Mondays or Tuesdays (Grades K–2, 3–5, or 6–8) your child will learn the basic skills and rules of volleyball, including how to pass (not bump!) set, hit (not spike!), and serve. We will also teach them movement exercises and games that introduce them to the rhythm, strategy, and joy of the game. No previous experience is necessary! Over eight sessions, your child will get 1-on-1 and small group coaching with a high energy, lots of movement, minimal downtime approach that will energize your child and share our love for this amazing game.

NEW!!! At SYV Minivolley League on Wednesdays or Thursdays (Grades 3–5 or 6–8), our sessions will focus on playing games of various types depending on the age range. Week-to-week there will be a progression of game formats and rules that enable players to grow into increasingly complex versions of volleyball regardless of their initial experience level.
